Today's focus
Hussar is a key energy trading partner, supplying over 100 consumers across industries such as agriculture, retail filling stations, and aviation in Ukraine. Our focus is on West-to-East energy trading models, addressing market disruptions and filling the void left by RU sanctions, particularly in the Baltic States.
With 81% of global energy still reliant on hydrocarbons, we recognize the need for strategic investments to balance energy security and the path to net zero by 2050. Hussar & Co. is committed to driving supply solutions in markets facing crisis and transformation.

Global Perspective
Our 15-year history
The original partners opened Hussar & Co.’s first offices in New York in 2010 in response to the global financial crisis, to find new funding sources and investors for distressed assets. In its first five years, the group expanded to 20 countries across the US, Europe, and Eurasia, focusing on agriculture, food and food security.
In 2015, the firm relocated its physical presence to Europe (Budapest, HU) and added real estate advisory services for its principal investor, Starwood Capital Group.
In 2020, Hussar & Co. opened its global headquarters in Zug, Switzerland to pursue its trading and principal investment activities.
Today, Hussar Energy Trading LLC (Kyiv) supplies 100+ consumers in various industries.
